Velvet Taco welcomes CDO

Dallas-based Velvet Taco has hired Allyn Taylor as its chief development officer, according to a company press release.
"His extensive background in driving development strategy will be key in expanding our brand across the country. The timing couldn't be better and we welcome Allyn to the team," Velvet Taco President Clay Dover, said in the release.
Taylor served as CDO for Zoes Kitchen, where he led real estate, design and construction for more than 250 restaurants.
