Velvet Taco hires marketing VP

Velvet Taco has hired Brooke Perry as VP of marketing. She held the same title for ChopShop and will help Dallas-based Velvet Taco grow beyond its 40 locations.

"I'm confident she is the ideal person to lead our innovative brand into the future as our new VP of marketing," Velvet Taco CEO Clay Dover said in a company press release. "With Brooke's extensive experience in building brand equity, I know she will make a major impact here."

Founded in 2011, Velvet Taco has locations in Texas, North Carolina, Georgia, Illinois, Tennessee and Oklahoma.
