Velvet Taco betting on casino location

Velvet Taco opened its first casino location Tuesday inside Choctaw Casino in Durant, Oklahoma, one of several planned non-traditional openings for the Dallas-based brand.

"There couldn't be a better location to introduce our first casino restaurant and we are honored to partner with Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma to introduce the Velvet Taco brand to their community and visitors," Velvet Taco CEO Clay Dover said in a company press release. "This opens the door to many more openings, allowing us to bring our internationally-inspired tacos to guests across the US in a non-traditional setting."

Velvet Taco has over 40 locations in Texas, North Carolina, Georgia, Illinois, Tennessee, Oklahoma and Florida.
