Veggie Grill, a Calfornia-based fast casual chain, has partnered with v-dog, a national dog food company that sells vegan products, to host a Saturday event called "Bottoms Pups." From 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., pet parents and their dogs can visit select Veggie Grill locations to receive free vegan dog treats from v-dog as well as the company's green bandanas, according to a company press release.

"Veggie Grill has offered 100% plant-based dishes and a wonderful dining atmosphere for years, and now fans of the restaurant will be able to include their favorite furry friends in their afternoon out," Lindsay Rubin, vice president of v-dog, said in the release.

Since opening in 2006, Veggie Grill has 35 locations in California, Oregon, Washington and Illinois, and will expand to Boston and New York City this year, according to the release.
