Vapiano International, the 95-unit fast casual chain, will open in Charlotte, N.C. at the end of this month, on the heels of another grand opening in Reston, Va., June 28.
Reston is 20 miles outside Washington, D.C., where Vapiano has five other restaurants open and a sixth undergoing construction.
The Reston and Charlotte openings mark a busy time for the pizza and pasta chain, which is set to open its first Chicago location in late August, followed by a second along the Windy City's Magnificent Mile in 2012. The first store will be located on North Clark Street.
Other U.S. locations for the chain are Dulles and Arlington, Va., Bethesda, Md., Boston, Dallas, Fort Myers, Fla., and New York City.
