"Our unique approach to providing great customized pizza, salads and Italian sandwiches, coupled with prompt at-table delivery in a comfortable setting, has already built a strong following in the Charleston area," said North Charleston store owner David Moulton.

Moulton and his father, co-owner Bruce Moulton, plan to open a third Uncle Maddio’s location in the Charleston area in the next several months, according to the release.

"I love the Uncle Maddio’s build-your-own pizza concept; I think it is exactly the type of restaurant the community will enjoy with their friends, families and co-workers," David Moulton said.

At Uncle Maddio’s Pizza Joint restaurants, guests interact with a pizza maker to customize pizza with ingredients and crust preferences, with the promise their customized pie will be delivered to their table in less than eight minutes. There are currently 37 Uncle Maddio’s operating in 13 states.
