Uncle Maddio's launches Thai-inspired cuisine

Fast-casual pizza chain Uncle Maddio's Pizza Joint is bringing Southeast Asian flavors to its menu with the introduction of two new limited-time only menu dishes, the ThaiTastic Salad and Sriracha Chicken Pizza.

Fast-casual pizza chain Uncle Maddio's Pizza Joint is bringing Southeast Asian flavors to its menu with the introduction of two new limited-time only menu dishes, the ThaiTastic Salad and Sriracha Chicken Pizza, inspired by the sweet-sour-salty-spicy flavor of Thai cuisine and available nationwide through May.

"The Uncle Maddio's culinary team prides itself on keeping up with consumer taste preferences to ensure we're giving guests the variety and flavors they want," said Matt Andrews, CEO and founder of Uncle Maddio's Pizza Joint, in a statement. "Southeast Asian cuisine is very popular right now. Our ThaiTastic Salad and Sriracha Chicken Pizza are ideal for guests looking for bright, authentic, ethnic flavor notes. They are perfect spring dishes."

The National Restaurant Association's "2015 Culinary Forecast" reported that Southeast Asian is the No. 5 ethnic-dining style in America, according to the announcement.

The ThaiTastic Salad features field greens drizzled with Thai dressing and topped with grilled chicken, red onions, purple cabbage, peanuts and Uncle Maddio's sweet and spicy Sriracha sauce. The Sriracha Chicken Pizza is topped with the same sauces and ingredients from Uncle Maddio's.
