UFood opens second Logan International Airport location

UFood Restaurant Group has opened its new location at Boston's Logan Airport Terminal C. The restaurant marks a new franchise relationship with Midfield Concession Enterprises of Romulus, Mich.

Midfield is a multiunit food and beverage operator with a portfolio that includes Cantina Laredo, Max & Erma's, Champps Americana, The Coffee Beanery and Quiznos. Midfield also operates its own award-winning brands, Sora Japanese Cuisine & Sushi Bar and the Mediterranean Grill.

The Terminal C location is the company's second in Boston's Logan International Airport and third airport location overall.

"We are very excited to expand our business in airports and other nontraditional locations throughout the United States," George Naddaff, chairman and CEO of UFood Grill, said in a new release. "Airports, colleges, and hospitals are a natural fit for our concept, where delicious meets nutritious."

UFood Restaurant Group is headquartered in Boston.
