UFood Grill expands airport presence

March 22, 2010

UFood Restaurant Group has announced that its location at Cleveland-Hopkins International Airport marks a new franchise relationship with Robinson Hill Hospitality Group (RHHG) of Chicago. Robinson Hill is a multiunit airport restaurant and food service operator of chains such as Ben & Jerry's and Cheeburger Cheeburger, as well as a franchisee of Jamba Juice and Johnny Rockets. The group also is an operating partner of Hudson News at Chicago's O'Hare International Airport and OTG Management at both O'Hare and Reagan International Airports. "UFood Grill understands the importance of delivering quality product in a time-sensitive manner -- a task paramount to any airport concessions operator," RHHG president Dee Robinson Reid said in a news release. "We believe UFood Grill will be a great addition to the Cleveland-Hopkins International Airport, as well as a hit with travelers looking for healthful options on-the-go." The Cleveland-Hopkins location is slated to be open by Summer 2010 and marks UFood's continuing growth into the nontraditional airport sector. UFood Grill and/or its franchisees operate locations in Boston's Logan International Airport and in the Dallas Fort Worth International Airport. "This exciting announcement is a testament to our success in our other airport locations, as well as our commitment to growing nontraditional restaurant locations in hospitals, colleges and travel plazas throughout the United States," said UFood Grill's chairman and CEO George Naddaff. UFood is headquartered in Boston.
