UFood closes Salt Lake City restaurant

UFood Restaurant Group Inc. has announced today that its Salt Lake City franchisee has terminated the operation of the UFood Grill Restaurant in the city, as a casualty of the recession.

"Certain areas of the country have experienced severe declines in consumer traffic, which penalizes any style restaurant," said UFood CEO George Naddaff. "We remain persistent in being innovative in developing new menu items and price points that will continue to drive the consumer to our restaurants."
