Uberrito signs 1st airport deal

Uberrito has signed an agreement with SSP America to commercially develop and operate a location at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport — the restaurant's first airport terminal location —  according to a press release. 

The opening is part of SSP America's 10-year contract with the City of Phoenix and the City of Phoenix Aviation Department to develop and operate five separate food and beverage concession spaces at the airport.

Uberrito, part of Williston Holding Company, which operates and franchises 56 Mexican and American restaurant locations across nine brands — will open in late 2018 or early 2019 behind security in terminal 3. The terminal will contain nearly 20,000 square feet concession space expansion, as well as the north and south concourses, lobby and ticketing areas, according to the release. 

The brand, which operates five Houston-area locations and one Phoenix location, is seeking experienced, multi-unit operators and franchisees to help grow the brand nationally. Single and multi-unit area development opportunities, along with master franchise agreements, are available, according to the release.
