Überrito will soon open its fourth Houston location, continuing its rebranding efforts away from its former identity of Mission Burrito. The location, 7705 Westheimer Road, opensMay 5 in celebration of Cinco de Mayo, according to a company press release. The Houston-based company changed its name from Mission Burrito in 2014, and has since expanded outside out of Texas to Scottsdale, Arizona.
"We are excited to bring our expanded menu and newest interior design to the Houston community. Our name translates to above and beyond your basic burrito, and we feel that’s exactly what we are offering our customers with our new dining experience,” said Marcus Jundt, CEO of Überrito. "Our standing belief is that food—even when served fast—should be fresh and thoroughly enjoyed. This holds true for our restaurant design strategy as well.”
Überrito has four Houston locations, and will open a fifth later this year.
From May 5 to 13, all Überrito locations will donate 10 percent of sales to Make-A-Wish Texas Gulf Coast and Louisiana to fund the wish of a local child with a life-threatening medical condition.
