Mexican fast casual restaurant Uberrito is opening this fall in Houston, marking the chain's sixth unit.
"On the heels of announcing our first location in San Antonio, we are excited to build on our current momentum with another opening in Houston," CEO Marcus Jundt said in a company press release. "These plans highlight our continued growth and commitment to meet demand while working with our new franchisees."
The opening is part of a master franchise agreement AA FreshMex, which has the potential to bring more than 100 locations across Texas in the Houston, Austin and San Antonio markets.
"The demand for Uberrito's unique offering continues to expand, and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to respond to that growing demand by expanding Uberrito via multiple locations," Aly Noorani, partner at AA FreshMex, said in the release. "We look forward to continuing to work with Uberrito to capitalize on this momentum and bring Uberrito's Fresh Mex concept to locations throughout Texas."
Uberrito is part of Williston Holding Company, which includes 10 restaurant brands and more than 50 restaurants across six states, including units in Richmond, Charlottesville and Harrisonburg, Virginia; Rochester, Minnesota; and Charlotte, North Carolina.
