U-Swirl plans 10-unit expansion in Houston

U-Swirl Inc., parent company of U-Swirl International Inc., the owner and franchisor of U-Swirl Frozen Yogurt cafés, announced today that the 31st U-Swirl Café in the chain has opened for business in Katy, Texas.

This is the first of 10 planned locations in the Houston area. Brother-and-sister team Randy and Lindsey Palmer are the area developers in the market.

"We are excited to bring U-Swirl to the Katy community," Randy Palmer said. "We look forward to becoming a positive addition to our fine community."

The team is currently designing its second location, which it expects to be open by the end of this year.
