True Food Kitchen launches 'Cobb for a Cause' effort

True Food Kitchen has launched "Cobb for a Cause," to support the Environmental Working Group, an organization that empowers people to live healthier lives in a healthier environment.

The promotion reflects the restaurant brand's commitment to educating customers about the impact of organics on health.

As part of the month-long promotion, True Food Kitchen will donate a dollar to the EWG for every Good Earth Kale Cobb salad sold from April 1 to April 30, according to a press release.

The promotion debuts on the heels of EWG's recent release of its annual Shopper's Guide to Pesticides in Produce.

 "Our 'Cobb for a Cause' promotion and our partnership with EWG are significant because they underscore True Foods commitment to responsible sourcing and educating consumers everywhere about the impact of organics on health," said Chef Robert McCormick, True Food Kitchen brand chef, in the release. "We go to great lengths to source with integrity, partnering only with growers and farmers that are committed to the same values that we are."
