Tropical Smoothie plans to continue Colorado expansion

Tropical Smoothie Café opened three restaurants in the Denver area in the last three months, and hopes to add 25 more across the metro region, according to the company.

It is also hoping to add an additional 15 locations throughout the state, including Ft. Collins, Colorado Springs, Boulder and other metropolitan areas.

“Naturally, there’s a huge demand for healthier food options in Denver and throughout the state, and Tropical Smoothie Café is poised to fulfill that need with fresh, light food and smoothies packed with real fruits and veggies,” said Kriss Shriver, who along with Michelle Shriver, opened a café in the Denver Tech Center in Greenwood Village, Colo. The Shrivers also opened two more locations in The Streets of Southglenn and Centennial Promenade in Centennial, Colo.
