Tropical Smoothie goes 'Mojo Loco' with flavor fusions

Tropical Smoothie Cafe is feeding the trend for flavorful combinations of exotic tastes with a new Cucumber Mojito Smoothie and Mojo Tacos, according to a company press release.

Available by Feb. 24, the new Mojo Tacos feature a choice of tilapia, chicken or steak and are topped with a handmade Cucumber Salsa made of diced cucumbers, tomatoes, red onions and herb seasonings, along with fresh romaine lettuce and a new signature Mojo Sauce.

To complement the new taco options, Tropical Smoothie Cafe is also debuting a new Cucumber Mojito Smoothie made of cucumbers, fresh mint and lime juice. The new menu items will be available for a limited time only, according to the release.

"We're constantly pushing the envelope to create tastes that are authentic, fresh and bold," said Lisa Wenda, CMO of Tropical Smoothie Cafe. "Our new Mojo flavor is inspired by the tastes of the Caribbean and perfected with a tropical twist."
