Tropical Smoothie Cafe seeking new franchisees

The brand has nearly doubled its locations over the past two years in Michigan and Northern Ohio with 33 locations open in Michigan and five in Northern Ohio.

Tropical Smoothie Café has seen an explosion in sales over the past two years and is expecting 2016 to be its largest-grossing sales year yet, according to a company press release.

The brand has nearly doubled its locations over the past two years in Michigan and Northern Ohio with 33 locations open in Michigan and five in Northern Ohio. An additional 37 locations have been sold, of which 20 are already slated to open in 2016, according to the release.

The company is looking for franchisees with business experience, $100,000 in liquid assets, and a net worth of at least $300,000. Each Tropical Smoothie Café costs between $165,000 and $415,000 to open, according to the company.
