Tropical Smoothie Café opens third Cali location

Tropical Smoothie Café has opened its third location in the sunshine state.

Tropical Smoothie Café's latest California restaurant has opened at 401 Auto Center Drive Suite 109A in Foothill Ranch, marking the third café to open in the sunshine state.

The new restaurant is part of brand's aggressive franchise development plans to develop nearly 200 cafes across the U.S., including two dozen locations in southern California, according to a company press release. Leading the expansion in California is the Lake Forest location, which opened its doors in mid January. A second location opened shortly after in Rancho Cucamonga.

Future California locations include Irvine, which is slated to open next month, Mission Viejo, Ladera Ranch, Fountain Valley, Orange and Rancho Santa Margarita.
