"Anti-established" in 2003, The Counter now boasts 34 locations with an additional six slated to open early in 2012 and three more on the boards for early 2013. In January, the chain announced an international development agreement for 33 stores in England and the Middle East. The concept revolves around a dizzying 312,000+ burger combinations, all featuring hormone- and antibiotic-free natural Angus beef. Each location also features a different market selection of sustainably produced and locally sourced items, and offers a catered Burger Bar.
