Togo's Sandwiches kicks off franchise tour

April 19, 2010

Togo's Sandwiches, based in San Jose, Calif., is holding a series of free seminars throughout the state to share the Togo's story with individuals interested in owning a Togo's Franchise.

The first seminar is April 21 in Culver City, Calif. Others also will be held in Thousand Oaks, Fresno, Modesto and Pleasant Hill.

Founded in San Jose nearly 40 years ago, Togo's has grown to more than 240 West Coast restaurants, all owned and operated by independent franchisees.

The Togo's management team will be on hand to answer questions about owning a Togo's restaurant. Attendees also will hear from current franchisees and get a behind-the-scenes look at their operations through a series of videos.

"Togo's is the perfect opportunity for entrepreneurs who want to own a business and have a passion for great food and service," said Todd Peterson, vice president of development. "Opening a Togo's requires a low investment, and we pride ourselves on giving new franchisees the support they need to be successful from the very start."

Togo's is planning to open 10 restaurants this year and is looking to expand in California, Nevada, Oregon and Washington
