Togo's Eateries Inc. is celebrating its first restaurant in Colorado by giving away 1,000 free Hot Pastrami or Turkey Avocado Sandwiches.

The grand opening will take place on Dec. 5 at 27 South Tejon St., #110, in downtown Colorado Springs at the United States Olympic Committee Headquarters Building. For seven weeks following the opening, guests will have a chance to win free sandwiches for a year, a catering party, freebies and more.

"Ever since I discovered Togo's in the 1980s, I've been waiting patiently for them to reach the Rockies," said Bill Miller, managing partner at Miller Investment Management and franchisee of Togo's Colorado Springs. "When Togo's announced they were coming to Colorado, my business partners and I jumped on the opportunity to open and operate the first Togo's locations in Colorado. We're so impressed with Togo's commitment to quality food, and we're proud to bring it to our home town."
