Residents of Pasadena, Calif., can experience Togo's Eateries Inc., now that the West Coast-based chain has opened its newest location in Pasadena at 854 E. Green St.
"I am thrilled to have opened Togo's in Pasadena and I am confident local residents will become big fans of the brand once they try our delicious, seriously stacked sandwiches, wraps, salads and more," Togo's franchisee, Karen Tang, said in a company press release. "At Togo's, we are passionate about the quality food we serve and dedicated to providing guests with exceptional, one-on-one deli-style experience."
Prior to opening her first restaurant, Tang had practiced law for 15 years before deciding to begin a new business venture. Her family's previously owned deli-business, in addition to her frequent visits during her years at UC Berkley to pick up a No. 9 hot pastrami sandwich, further enticed Karen's passion for the brand. As a resident of Pasadena, the new franchisee has future plans to open two more Togo's locations in the Pasadena and South Pasadena areas.
Recently, Togo's marked its 40th anniversary with more than 250 locations open on the West Coast. Togo's is seeking to reach 400 new locations in Pasadena and other key markets such as Arizona, California, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, Utah and Washington by 2015.
