Togo's expands presence in Oregon

February 16, 2012

As part of its plan to open 28 new units in 2012, Togo's Eateries Inc has opened its newest location in Bend, Ore.

The restaurant is located on U.S. Highway 20 in East Bend, and is owned by Chris Martin, an existing Togo's franchisee who also operates two Togo's restaurants in Corvallis, Ore.

The new 1,700-square-foot location opened Jan. 30 with Togo's new store prototype, which highlights the brand's deli-inspired, one-on-one style service, showcasing fresh food with reach-in glass refrigerators and see-through counters.

"I have been a passionate Togo's franchisee for over 25 years and am thrilled to be opening my third location in Bend and introducing more guests in Oregon to our big, made to order sandwiches," Martin said. "We know Togo's will be a welcome addition to the neighborhood."

A grand opening event will be held March 31 and will feature music, a prize wheel and giveaways. Togo's is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and  from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday.

As part of Togo's 40-year anniversary, the company launched a strategic plan for expansion, which includes remodeling options for franchisees to refresh existing units, while continuing to grow the brand in key growth states including Arizona, Nevada, Oregon and Washington.
