Togo’s is celebrating the grand opening of its first restaurant in Tempe, Ariz., at 9920 S. Rural Road, Suite 111, by inviting guests to receive a free fountain drink Dec. 9 when they make a $1 donation to Matthew’s Crossing, a nonprofit organization that provides food assistance to those in need throughout the East Valley in Maricopa County.
“I am proud to expand Togo’s presence in Arizona,” said Monty Coury, who opened a Togo’s last year in Gilbert, Ariz. “Since opening our first restaurant in Gilbert, we’ve seen a tremendous amount of support from the community and there is still a huge potential for growth in the market. We’re confident that Tempe residents will become raving fans of the brand once they have experienced the Togo’s difference.”
Coury and his wife, Diana, have another Valley restaurant in development and plan to open additional restaurants in Arizona over the next several years.
