Togo's adds Cuban flair to sandwich line

Togo's Eateries Inc. has introduced its latest premium pork sandwich — the new Toasted Cuban sandwich, featuring pulled pork and Black Forest ham topped with melted Swiss cheese, tangy pickles with a Cuban-inspired Dijon mustard vinaigrette and served on toasted white bread.

“Togo’s new Cuban Sandwich takes the shredded pork sandwich to a whole new level,” CMO Renae Scott said in a news release. “Pork continues to be one of the fastest growing trends in the foodservice industry and with the recent success of our BBQ Pulled Pork sandwich, we knew that we had to do something big for this year’s promotion.”

Togo’s Toasted Cuban sandwich is available in regular six-inch and large nine-inch sizes, starting at $6.50.
