"My entrepreneurial spirit comes from my mother who taught me what it takes to run a successful business," Candace Kovar said in a company press release. "After welcoming our daughter during the pandemic, I was on the hunt to find a business that we could grow for her in hopes of instilling within her the same outlook and spirit," said Candace Kovar, franchisee and owner of Toastique Ann Arbor. "We saw Toastique's growth across the country and after meeting the team behind it all, we discovered how well it aligned with my values of eating healthy, fresh food and investing in wellness. It was a 'ding ding ding' moment of finding the perfect fit for our family and our hometown! Ann Arbor is a beautiful, diverse community and I'm confident that they are going to love Toastique."
