Tin Drum Asian Kitchen ownership ranks expand

Tin Drum Asian Kitchen’s ownership team has expanded by two with the involvement of corporate partners, Altaf and Amisha Popatiya.

The Popatiyas became franchise partners three years ago. Now Altak will serve as Tin Drum’s COO and Amisha will be the brand's director of marketing, according to a press release.

"As part of the ownership team, we want to bring out the best in each Tin Drum restaurant by taking the concept back to its sidewalk café roots," Amisha Popatiya said in the release.

In January 2019, the duo helped to create a new model for future cafes with the opening of the newest Tin Drum in Decatur, Georgia which evokes the hustle and bustle of a classic Hong Kong-style curbside café.
