Till Payments acquires Ziosk’s payment processing unit

Till Payments, an Australia based fintech company, has acquired ZIPS, the payment processing business unit of the hospitality technology platform company Ziosk, for an undisclosed sum, according to a press release.

The ZIPS business unit has been absorbed into the broader Till business, enabling new and existing partners to access a single-entry gateway for its integrated payments solution.

The complete ZIPS portfolio of independent software vendor partners and referral partners across North America, along with all of its employees, have transitioned over to Till as part of the acquisition, growing the company's North America team to 35.

ZIPS' Kevin Brown has been appointed head of strategy for Till North America.

The deal also establishes a long-term strategic partnership between Till and Ziosk. Ziosk will continue to leverage the Till payment processing offering across its growing network of more than 3,500 hospitality locations in the U.S. while Till will be offering Ziosk payment terminals to its international network of merchants.
