Tijuana Flats launched a new menu featuring four new menu items and a fresh look and feel, according to a company press release. One new item inlcudes: "Atom Bombs," previously a secret menu item brought to life by a Tijuana Flats' employee, Adam Moore. The Atom Bombs are served in a lightly fried tortilla, stuffed with cream cheese, fresh jalapenos and a side of Smack Sweet Chili dipping sauce.
"We are eager to introduce new menu options to our customers. We are confident the menu enhancements will be well received by our guests," said Tijuana Flats CEO, Brad Kaemmer.
Additional menu items include the new "Mega Dip," starter with refried or black beans, queso, lettuce, sour cream, cheese, guacamole, pico de gallo and green onions, served with chips. The former "Little Lizards" kids section will change to "Lil' Desperados" and will offer a "Mac 'N Queso" option and low-fat chocolate milk. The desserts section will expand with the addition of the "Banana Empanadas," stuffed with bananas and cinnamon sugar and topped with powdered sugar and a side of caramel sauce.
New Coca-Cola products, Coke Zero, Vitamin Water and Orange Fanta will be added to the lineup of fountain drink offerings. A variety of new beer and wine selections including Strongbow gluten-free cider and Dos-A-Rita lager margaritas will enrich the assortment of the beverage program, according to the release.
