THE MELT giving away 10,000 free Melts

THE MELT, a San Francisco-based fast casual eatery, is celebrating National Grilled Cheese Day by giving away 10,000 free melts before April 12. Additionally, THE MELT is debuting an updated menu featuring customers' all-time favorite Special Combos, "Middles" to customize melts with premium ingredients, new all-day breakfast melts, as well as artisanal soft serve ice cream and hand-made milkshakes, according to a company press release.

In celebration of National Grilled Cheese Day, the first 10,000 people who sign up at eatcheese.com by April 12, will receive a QR code for a free melt (up to $6.75) that can be redeemed at any of fifteen THE MELT store or bus locations.

New daily combos include:
The Shorty:
Melt - Pepper Jack, Braised Short Rib on San Francisco Sourdough
Soup - Spicy Black Bean

The Mac Daddy:
Melt - Cheddar, Elbow Macaroni on San Francisco Sourdough
Soup - Sausage & Pepper

The 'Shroom:
Melt - Swiss, Portobello Mushroom, Grilled Onion on San Francisco Sourdough
Soup - Two Tomato Basil

The Thanksgiving:
Melt - Cheddar, Carved Turkey, Cranberry and Stuffing on Sourdough
Soup - Sweet Corn Tortilla

The updated menu gives consumers new ways to customize with "Middles."These optional add-ons are premium ingredients that allow customers to personalize their favorite melts.

Breakfast
Breakfast melts are now available all day and include two new offerings that expand on the success of THE MELT's signature Egg-In-A-Hole. Each breakfast melt is made-to-order with a freshly cracked farm egg and locally sourced bread from an artisan baker.

The White Hot:
Egg-White-In-A- Hole, Pepper Jack with Jalapeño on San Francisco Sourdough

The Egg-In-A-Waffle:
Freshly Cracked Farm Egg, Aged Cheddar and Maple Butter on Waffle

To complement the new menu and drive snack and late-day traffic, the following artisanal ice cream is now available: Madagascar vanilla bean soft serve, with the option of a hand-dipped chocolate shell, and hand-made Madagascar vanilla bean or double chocolate milk shakes, with the option to add malt.
