The Hummus & Pita Co adds location to Manhattan

The Hummus & Pita Co., based in Brooklyn, New York, has added a location to the Upper East Side between 2nd and 3rd Avenues at 216 E 86th St. in Manhattan. It's near Sweetgreen, Shake Shack and Chipotle locations, according to a press release.

"We are thrilled to be opening our new location in such a highly coveted area and further expanding our New York footprint into a new area of Manhattan," Co-founder Dave Presso said in the release. "We are very fortunate to have this opportunity to expand during such pressing times, and we look forward to introducing the Upper East Side to The Hummus & Pita Co."

The chain operates six locations with additional units in development in Los Angeles and Atlanta, as well as Ohio and Alabama.
