The Halal Guys expanding in Jersey

The brick-and-mortar expansion of the New York halal food cart concept, The Halal Guys, continues with the opening of a unit at 2317 U.S. Route 22 in Union, New Jersey, according to a company press release.

Slated for a late April debut, it will serve chicken or beef gyros, or falafel sandwiches and platters, complemented by The Halal Guys' hot sauces. Sides include house-made hummus, baba ganouj, tahini, falafel or fries. Baklava is also on the menu.

The Halal Guys now includes 40 U.S. and three international locations.
