The Habit Burger Grill to open location in Cambodia

The Habit Burger Grill, based in California, has opened its seventh location in Cambodia. The store is inside in the Aeon Mall Mean Chey, the largest retail mall in the country in Phnom Penh, according to a press release.

The chain uses an open flame to sear a smokey flavor into its Charburgers, marinated chicken, ahi tuna and tenderloin stake. It also offers sides and frozen treats.

"After having a presence in Cambodia for less than three years, we are incredibly excited and honored to open our seventh restaurant in Cambodia," John Phillips, chief global business partnership officer at The Habit Burger Grill, said in the release. "We see strong potential in the Asia Pacific for more Habit Burger Grill restaurants, as already evidenced by our continued expansion and the positive reception we've received thus far."

The location will open officially on Jan. 15.
