The Habit Burger Grill launches French Onion Charburger

The burger, a take on the flavor of French onion soup, will be available through Nov. 17.

Habit Restaurants LLC, has rolled out a French Onion Charburger available now through Nov. 17 at more than 95 locations.

The Charburger will sell for $4.50.

The French Onion Charburger, a take on the flavor of French onion soup, features a toasted sesame seed bun, the Habit's proprietary French Onion sauce, lettuce, tomato, a char-grilled beef patty, Swiss cheese, sautéed mushrooms and grilled onions.

"The robust, rich sauce complements the char-broiled beef," said Chef Adam Baird, VP of Food & Beverage and Charburger creator, in a company press release. "The sautéed mushrooms build umami flavor; add our caramelized onions and the nutty nuance from melted Swiss cheese and it's pure, intense earthy flavor."
