The Habit Burger expands in Calif.

The Habit Burger Grill is opening its seventh Sacramento, Calif.-area location July 11 in Folsom. The Irvine-based concept continues to grow with more than 50 locations in California and Arizona. The first Sacramento-area location opened in Granite Bay in 2005.

The community is encouraged to join Habit Burger as they offer three sneak peeks of its menu during their charity tie-in events July 8-9. From 12-2 p.m. on July 8th, The Habit will donate 100 percent of its proceeds of all menu items to the Muscular Dystrophy Association. The Habit will re-open from 5-7 p.m. that day and will donate all proceeds toCRAEF/Pro-Start. On July 9, they will be open from 12-2pm with all proceeds benefiting the Folsom Zoo Sanctuary.

"We are excited to continue our growth in the Sacramento area with our newest Habit here in Folsom," said Russ Bendel, president and CEO of Habit Restaurants, LLC. "Our seventh location here will give even more people a new 'Habit' worth repeating."

The Habit is best known for their made-to-order "charburgers" grilled over an open flame and their friendly, inviting service.
