The Habit announces IPO

Shares will be available at a price of $18 per share starting Nov. 20.

The Habit Restaurants Inc. has announced the pricing of its initial public offering of 5,000,000 shares of its Class A common stock at a public offering price of $18.00 per share.

The shares are expected to begin trading on The NASDAQ Global Market on Nov. 20 under the ticker symbol "HABT."

In addition, The Habit has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase from The Habit up to an additional 750,000 shares of its Class A common stock at the initial public offering price.
