The Flame Broiler bowls over Florida

August 22, 2017

The Flame Broiler is expanding its Jacksonville, Florida footprint with a fourth location in the area, opening at the front of Oakleaf Town Center at 9711 Applecross Rd., Unit 4. What makes this unit special, said franchisee Jackie Grzebin, who owns and manages the other three area stores, is the drive-thru.

"The Flame Broiler has seen a lot of success in the Jacksonville area since opening the first location in Tapestry Park in December 2010," Grzebin said in a company press release. "With the overwhelming support from the community and popular demand, it was the perfect time to open a new store with a drive-thru, and expose even more of our wonderful locals to The Flame Broiler’s quality food."

The core menu features rice bowls, which start at 140 calories and are made with non-GMO white or brown rice, Angus beef, all-natural chicken or organic charbroiled tofu, freshly blanched vegetables and chopped green onions.  Guests may add The Flame Broiler’s proprietary hot sauce, double hot sauce, triple hot sauce  or its Korean BBQ-inspired Magic Sauce, according to the release.

"It's been exciting watching Jackie grow within the company," said Young Lee, CEO and founder of The Flame Broiler in the release. "She demonstrates such passion and cares about our brand so much, it’s no wonder that she’s already established as many successful stores as she has."
