The Cumin Bowl, a Chicago-based brand owned by the Cumin Culinary Brands specializing in customizable Indian bowls, is serving diners in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex through a partnership with Franklin Junction, a restaurant e-commerce platform. Locations are in Allen, Frisco, Grapevine, Irving and Richardson and bring the chain one step closer to reaching its goal of expanding into 25 cities across the U.S. by the end of 2022.
"We're pleased to introduce The Cumin Bowl's fresh take on Indian food to Dallas and add The Cumin Bowl to our roster of brands that span across a variety of cuisines," Rishi Nigam, CEO and co-founder of Franklin Junction, said in the release. "Our Host Kitchen network enables us to offer authentic, high-quality brands like The Cumin Bowl to people all across the country."
In addition to The Cumin Bowl restaurants, The Cumin Culinary Brands provides 5-minute Indian meal kits that customers may cook at home. The direct-to-consumer meal kit subscription, Cumin Club, offers curated meal plans delivered to customers' doorsteps starting at $4.99 per meal.
