The Counter to open nine LA, Las Vegas locations

The Counter has announced that it has signed two new franchise partners: Greg Finefrock and Dennis Rohde with G & D Management, and sisters Christina and Catyana Azinian of Nevada Counter Inc., to open nine additional locations in Los Angeles and Las Vegas over the next four years.

G&D Management, a California-based operator, will open The Counter West Hollywood location in March 2010, and an additional four units in Los Angeles County planned for 2011 and 2012.

Christina and Catyana Azinian will open their first franchise location of The Counter Las Vegas in late 2010 with three more restaurants in the Las Vegas region by 2014.

The Counter has 23 locations and recently opened franchised units in Ballard, Wash., Carlsbad, Calif., and San Diego.
