The Counter rapidly expanding

The Counter Custom Built Burger is spreading throughout the country and into the Middle East. It opened its original location in Santa Monica in 2003, but has opened three new locations in the past four months in Toluca Lake, Hermosa Beach and Century City, Calif.

Several other locations are also in the works, including:

LAX Airport – The Counter is opening at Los Angeles International Airport in the United Terminal 7. Opening in partnership with CMS Hospitality, the new airport location is slated to open Summer 2012. The Counter opened its first airport location earlier this year in April 2011 at the Miami International Airport. There are also plans to open a third airport location at the San Diego International Airport in Terminals 1 & 2 in Summer 2012.
Downtown Los Angeles – The Counter will open a new location in March 2012 in downtown Los Angeles on 7th Street across from Macy's, at 725 West 7th Street.
International Locations – Two Middle East locations of The Counter are set to open by end of year in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and Saar, Bahrain.

There are currently 32 U.S. locations and two international locations of The Counter.
