The Counter opens at Miami International

April 19, 2011

The Counter Custom Built Burgers has announced its March 3 opening in Terminal D at Miami’s International Airport. The restaurant is now open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and opened in partnership with HMSHost Corporation.

The Counter Miami Airport is the first airport location of the build-your-own burger restaurant and the first to feature a breakfast menu offering build-your-own breakfast sandwiches and omelets.

The Counter at Miami Airport features 2,150 square feet of dining space that seats a total of 63 people. Interior artwork captures the liveliness of the South Beach experience by showcasing photography by Gary Copeland. All artwork displayed at the restaurant is available for sale.

On the new breakfast menu, options include a build-your-own breakfast sandwich or omelet, made with cage free eggs, pre-built sandwiches and sides that include fried Plantains, hash browns, fruit cup or yogurt and granola. For lunch and dinner, guests can build their own burger or choose from the Starters, Signature Burgers and Burgers in a Bowlpre-designed menus. Additionally, The Counter at Miami airport offers a selection of ice cream shakes, malts and floats, as well as a full bar with spiked adult shakes and a diverse selection of handcrafted beer and wine.

There are currently 28 The Counter locations in the United States and two international locations.
