The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf has opened a location at Salt Lake City International Airport, marking its 23rd airport cafe across seven major U.S. hubs.
The opening, operated by Bambuza Hospitality Group, a minority and woman-owned business, also operates three Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf locations at John Wayne International Airport in California, according to a press release.
"As we continue to expand our non-traditional footprint, airports represent a key growth channel for The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf," Peter Vavra, director of franchise development for The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, said in the release.
The expansion highlights The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf's focus on non-traditional franchise development and its aim to partner with experienced operators in high-traffic venues.
"We are proud to partner with The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, a brand with an established legacy of delivering exceptional coffee and tea experiences," Bambuza Hospitality Group President and CEO Katherine Lam said in the release.
Founded in 1963, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf has over 1,200 locations worldwide.
