Colorado-based Teriyaki Madness opened its first Fresno, California, location last wee, marking the Seattle-style teriyaki brand's 26 location in the state.
Located at 6451 N. Riverside Dr., it is is owned and operated by franchisee Shogy Ahmed, who also owns the Teriyaki Madness location in Visalia.
"Fresno deserved something different, something that doesn't cut corners," Ahmed said in a company press release. "We can't wait to welcome guests into our shop. Everything we serve here is built on real ingredients, all cooked to order with undeniably high-quality sauces."
Founded in 2003, the chain is known for large, customizable bowls featuring proteins such as marinated chicken, steak, salmon and tofu served over rice or Yakisoba noodles.
"We're not just serving bowls — we're serving mood-lifting, sauce-drenched scrumptiousness that people can build exactly the way they want," CMO Jodi Boyce said in the release.
