Teriyaki Madness has announced the hiring of Michael Haith as its new chief executive officer.

Haith is the founder and principal of Franchise Sherpas. He is also the primary shareholder of Maui Wowi.

"As our growth accelerates, it is very important that we continue to develop the 'Big Picture' and Teriyaki Madness does not 'lose its way,'" said Rod Arreola, co-founder and former CEO of Teriyaki Madness, in a company press release. "In working with Michael for a few years now, I have no doubts that he will make a great CEO of Teriyaki Madness."

As CEO, Haith will take over the strategic management of the organization and develop systems and processes to maximize profitability for the franchisees. Co-founder and former CEO Rod Arreola will now move to focusing on brand promotion.

"In my over 20 years in franchising, I have yet to see a franchise concept that has as much potential as Teriyaki Madness," said Haith in the relesae. "I opted to come off the sidelines to be more hands-on, helping to build what very well may be one of the hottest concepts in a long time. With its commitment to quality ingredients, amazing food made fresh to order and tremendous unit economics, 'T-Mad' is simply in the right place at the right time, with the right products and the right business model.  The founders have done an amazing job in developing the concept."
