Denver-based Teriyaki Madness, a Seattle-style Teriyaki Shop with over 140 locations, is adding Chicago to its list of cities. Franchisee Saif Khan, who moved from India in 2009 to Chicago for his wife's medical residency, will open the area's first store next month at 4707 West Foster Ave.
"This market has the potential for a lot of growth, which was compelling to me," Khan said in a company press release. "But more than anything, I am excited to serve the people in my community great food and build relationships with my customers."
"Listen — there are some things in this world that you just can't deny, and people's love of Teriyaki Madness is one of them," Michael Haith, CEO of Teriyaki Madness, said in the release. "From customers and franchisees alike, the demand for Teriyaki Madness is growing everywhere, and we have no plans to slow down anytime soon. Khan's new location in Chicago is a big moment for us and is another important step in our mission to bowl over the whole country with delicious teriyaki."
