Since the beginning of the year, Colorado-based Teriyaki Madness has sold 91 units among 27 first-time franchisees, opening 18 shops with plans to add 16 by year's end and 60 in 2023.
"Last year was excellent for franchise development, and now, in 2022, we are proving to do even better and outpace that momentum," Teriyaki Madness CEO Michael Haith said in a company press release. "We are really firing on all cylinders in terms of sensational sales and franchise development."
In addition to welcoming franchise partners, the chain broke into several markets over the past six months, including New Hampshire, Connecticut and Southern Indiana.
"Growth is not something we force," Haith said in the release. "We look at where the demand is and ensure the opportunity is right. Right now, we don't have to look very hard. The demand for Teriyaki Madness is growing everywhere, and we're finding potential multi-unit franchisee partners who have experience and are looking to grow their portfolios. As we prepare for the second half of the year, we are excited to see what the future holds."
Founded in 2003, the brand has over 120 shops and franchising opportunities nationwide for single and multi-unit candidates.
