Tc4 & Co. Hospitality has acquired fellow Austin-based restaurant chain Mighty Fine Burgers Fries & Shakes, formerly owned by K&N Management, according to a press release. Mighty Fine has five locations in the Austin area.
Tc4 & Co. Hospitality is led by partners Tony Ciola and Creed Ford IV, and known for its three concepts: Tony C's Coal Fired Pizza, Tony C's Pizza & Beer Garden, and The League Kitchen and Tavern. Founded in 2011, Tc4 owns and operates seven locations in the Austin area, with a fourth location of The League set to open in early 2021.
"We have been longtime fans of Mighty Fine's concept, as well as the quality of food and service," Ford said in the release. "When this opportunity presented itself, we knew we had to act quick."
The acquisition brings Tc4 to an estimated total of 500 employees, up from 250 in 2019, with total sales projected to triple in less than a year.
According to Tc4, changes will be made operationally, but nothing significant that changes the guest experience.
"They have a great operation and we want to sustain what they've built," said Ciola.
