Tag Burger Bar reopening in Denver

Restaurateur and Chef Troy Guard's TAG Restaurant Group is reopening TAG Burger Bar next year at 10155 E. 29th Dr., in Denver's Central Park neighborhood.

The Congress Park location closed in 2021 after a 10-tenure due to the expiration of its lease and ongoing pandemic challenges. During that time, Tag shifted focus to its other four concepts — HashTAG, Guard and Grace, Bubu and Los Chingones. The team is ready to revive the burger brand, however, alongside a cocktail bar, Done Deal, opening downtown in January 2024.

"This location will not feel like an old concept but will return as a livelier and more modern restaurant, much like our other brands," Guard said in a company press release. "We are so excited to bring back Tag Burger Bar and continue the growth of Tag Restaurant Group throughout Denver."

Guard owns Guard and Grace, his flagship restaurant and take on the modern steakhouse; QSR Bubu with locations in Republic Plaza and Granite Tower; Los Chingones, a Mexican restaurant with four locations in Denver and Fort Collins, and the Boozy Brunch hotspot, HashTAG with locations in Central Park and Highlands Ranch.
