December 28, 2006
SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Another E. coli lawsuit was filed against Taco Bell in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York.
According to a news release, the lawsuit was filed on behalf of Michael Notar, a Clinton, N.Y., resident who became ill with an E. coli infection and was hospitalized for four days after eating E. coli-contaminated food at Taco Bell.
The plaintiff's lawyer, Marler Clark, represented the plaintiffs in the 1993 Jack in the Box E. coli outbreak and has litigated high profile E. coli cases against McDonald's, Wendy's, ConAgra and other food companies.
